With only four days remaining to Florida GOP primaries, where "winner takes it all", all 50 delegates, and at stake are 4,063,853 registered Republican voters as of January 3, 2012, all four GOP candidates are intensifying their rhetoric.

Now the battle is for winning the Latino voters. As it is clear that new generation of Latino voters is being formed in Florida, many of them slightly more likely to be Democrats - a trend that started in 2008.

According to the Pew Research Center more Hispanics in Florida are registered as Democrats 564,500 than as Republicans 452,600. Therefore it is not a surprise that GOP presidential candidates are trying do for as much as necessary for winning the support of the Latino voters, and try to be as close to their voters as possible. Massachusetts Gov Mitt Romney has already published his family origin, where he declared Mexican roots, and told an emotional story of his father. Romney tries to woo the Hispanic voters and convince them of their Hispanic heritage, but if it will really convince them and if they will forget other rhetoric used against the illegal immigrants in the US, it is not clear.  Obviously, the voters do not forget the fact that Romney favored US-Mexican border fence and he opposes the educational benefits for illegal immigrants. They also ask - why Romney has never come back to Mexico when claiming his heritage?!

So, maybe now, according to the latest survey conducted by Quinnipiac University, former Massachusetts Gov Romney is outpacing former House speaker Gingrich by almost two digits, but if Romney will win also on January 31 Florida primary, is dubious. At least if he will win thanks to ballots of Latino voters.
