It is a different day, it is a different world in Iraq today. And although the end of occupation is most welcomed change for Iraqis themselves, it will mean lot for US, too.

A totally useless, immoral war against the international law/ that is the best characterization of the operation Iraqi freedom, which President Obama officially ended on the last day in August. In his speech in Oval office he admitted, that he and president Bush have disagreements over the war in Iraq but he stopped short of explaining these disagreements. The facts are clear-the war began with creation of Bush doctrine of preventive attack in the case of a threat. Than the threat was fabricated - President Bush in his speech in Congress lied about the threat from Iraq. He stated, that Iraq has weapons of mass destruction although he knew from Ambassador Wilson that Iraq did not buy uranium in Africa and that these suspicions leading to the statement about the possession of nuclear weapons are false. This was confirmed also later, when US forces were not able to find any weapons of mass destructions after the invasion to Iraq.

Not respecting international agreements, acting against the will of UN Security Council and the foreseeable brutality of some primitive troops in Abu Ghraib- all these caused a huge image damage for US as a country. However, the lost lives of soldiers as of civilians, which were cynically named "collateral damage"- that is a real crime of George W. Bush and his suite. Although they will be probably not judged by an independent judge before independent court/ the history will never forget their guilt.

The end of operation Iraqi freedom means freedom for Iraq and freedom for US citizens, too. Freedom from guilt caused by their former president.
