Romania's southern neighbors, the Bulgarians, decided they have to work more on their image. The best way to get the intended image boost is to promote the main attractions and thus attract more tourists. The municipality of Sofia, Bulgaris's capital, wants therefore to provide free guided tours.

According to the news agency novinite.com, the Sofia municipality will offer Bulgarian citizens, as well as guests of the Bulgarian capital, free walking tours of the sights worth seeing in the center of the city. The tour is a project initiated by the municipal enterprises "Tourist Service" and "Stara Zagora", in cooperation with the Association of Tourist Guides in Bulgaria. According to novinite.com, the guided tour will include ten cultural-historical places of interest where the guides will stop and tell their history in Bulgarian.

Tours will be performed for minimum ten people, every Wednesday and Saturday.

The ascending trend of Bulgaria is also confirmed by the intention of the Spanish company Inditex, mother company of Zara, one of the world's biggest and most famous fashion retailers, to open three more stores in Bulgaria in the near future.

According to novinite.com, the company has signed contracts for the opening of stores in some Shopping Malls. The most probable locations will be Sofia, Stara Zagora and the Black Sea city of Burgas.
